DMR’s White Collar & Criminal Defense practice is led by Maria Dominguez -former federal prosecutor for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. District Court of Puerto Rico. Dominguez has conducted over 100 trials and is widely recognized by her peers as one of the top litigators in both Puerto Rico and Florida.
DMR’s attorneys have recently been involved in prominent and widely recognized cases both in Puerto Rico and Florida. Our white-collar criminal defense pool of clients includes a former Colombian paramilitary commander charged with narco-terrorism, a doctor charged with a $190 million Medicare fraud case as well as some of the most prominent cases in Puerto Rico’s history, involving a current Senator and a former Secretary of the Department of Education.
